Fischertechnik Basic Cart Kit
The fischertechnik Basic Cart Kit one of several construction sets carried by Midwestern Robotics. This set is fun for children ages 7 on up. It is able to make 3 different models using 50 components in this construction set. It contains a center pivot steering, monster quad and go-cart with a set of wheels perfect for every terrain.
Fischertechnik, a German manufacturer, is a family of construction kits that allows realistic, working models to be assembled. New doors of discovery and experimentation are opened for students and experimenters of all ages using an innovative system of interlocking building blocks, motors, sensors, lights, computer controllers, and software.
In 1964 the orginal FiscsherTechnik set was to be a Christmas gift for engineers and buyer at industrial clients. It was so popular that the company launched its first retail building set in 1965. By 1970 fischertechnik construction sets were being sold in the United States.
Fischertechnik building blocks are unique. They are manufactured of hard nylon with a peg on one side of each block that can be attached into a channel on any similar blocks. This channel – groove design produces a tightly fitting assembly that can be made into almost any shape.
